Verizon FiOS Router Login and Setup Guide
Verizon FiOS gateways use 192.168.1.1 or myfiosgateway.com as the admin address. The admin password is unique per device - printed on the label on the back of the router, not a universal default.
Verizon FiOS Gateway Models
Verizon FiOS is a fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) internet service in the northeastern United States. Verizon provides a gateway router - either supplied by them or available as a customer-owned option. The current gateway lineup includes the CR1000A (Wi-Fi 6E), G3100 (Wi-Fi 6), and legacy G1100 (Wi-Fi 5). Some customers use Amazon Eero routers supplied directly by Verizon.
Current flagship FiOS gateway. Tri-band Wi-Fi 6E. Admin at 192.168.1.1 or myfiosgateway.com. Unique label password.
Wi-Fi 6 gateway. Admin at 192.168.1.1 or myfiosgateway.com. Unique password on back label.
Older dual-band AC1750 gateway. Admin at 192.168.1.1 or myfiosgateway.com. Password on label.
Some FiOS plans include Eero routers. Managed via the Eero app. See: Eero setup guide.
How to Log In
Connect to the Wi-Fi network (credentials on the router label) or plug in an Ethernet cable.
Both addresses reach the same admin panel. Use http://myfiosgateway.com or http://192.168.1.1.
Verizon FiOS gateways use a unique admin password printed on the label on the back of the router. The username is admin. There is no universal default - you must use the label password.

Troubleshooting
The password is on the sticker on the back of the gateway - a unique alphanumeric code, NOT "admin" or "password".
Use custom DNS? Try http://192.168.1.1 directly.
Create DHCP Reservation first, then add port forwarding rules targeting that reserved IP.

FAQ
How do I set up port forwarding on the Verizon G3100 or CR1000A?
Log in to 192.168.1.1. Go to Firewall → Port Forwarding. Add a new rule: select the device by name from the list (Verizon identifies devices by hostname), enter the external port range, internal port, and protocol (TCP, UDP, or both). Save. For the rule to work reliably, first assign the target device a DHCP reservation under My Network → Network Connections → Network (Home/Office) → Configure DHCP Reservation.
