Belkin Router Login and Setup Guide
Belkin routers use 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.2.1 as the default gateway address. Default admin password is blank - just click login. Find the correct IP for your model below.
Belkin Router Login Addresses
Belkin router models use different default gateway addresses depending on the product series. The most common addresses are 192.168.1.254 (newer models and N-series) and 192.168.2.1 (older F5D series). All use admin as the username and no password (leave blank) as factory defaults.
| Model Series | Default IP | Username | Password |
|---|---|---|---|
| F5D series (older routers) | 192.168.2.1 | admin | blank |
| N series (N150, N300, N600) | 192.168.1.254 | admin | blank |
| AC series (newer models) | 192.168.1.254 | admin | blank or label |
Belkin stopped producing home networking products in 2016. Firmware updates for most models ended between 2016 and 2020. If you are still using a Belkin router, consider upgrading - unpatched firmware has known security vulnerabilities.
How to Log In
Connect via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable to the Belkin router.
Try http://192.168.1.254 first. If it does not load, try http://192.168.2.1. Check the label on the router for confirmation.
Enter admin in the username field. Leave the password field completely empty. Click Login or Submit.

Troubleshooting
Try 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.2.1 - Belkin used different defaults across their product lines. Run ipconfig on Windows to check your actual Default Gateway.
Factory default is admin with blank password (no password at all - just click Login). If that fails, someone set a password. Press and hold Reset for 10 seconds to restore factory defaults.
Belkin stopped home networking production in 2016. Firmware support for most models ended between 2016 and 2020. Consider replacing with a current router that receives active security patches.

FAQ
Neither 192.168.1.254 nor 192.168.2.1 loads - what is my Belkin's IP?
Run ipconfig on Windows (or ip route show default on Mac/Linux) and look at the Default Gateway value. That is always your router's current IP regardless of brand. Some Belkin models may have had their IP changed from factory defaults by a previous owner.
